Q 1: Why should I join the IT BHU ACM chapter?
IT BHU ACM Chapter aims
1)To bring the students on a single platform for exchange of ideas, knowledge, experience, and trends
2) To provide a learning platform for students to showcase their talent as well as develop the right scientific temperament through interaction with the larger computing community.
3) To promote computing research among the students & enhance their programming abilities and problem solving skills
Workshops and various programming contests will be held over the year which will provide you ample opportunity to judge your level among peers of your college.

Q 2: What are the eligibility criteria for joining the chapter?
Anyone who is a student of IT BHU can join the chapter.

Q 3: How do I register in the Chapter?
Mail your name, email id, branch, year and contact no. to chair.acm[at]itbhu.ac.in . You will have to submit Rs 100 as registration fees which will be collected from you.

Q 4: What events will be conducted under the chapter?
Events organized by the chapter will include a number of programming contests, workshops for discussing the problems and various technologies and hopefully, a few seminars and guest lectures by some famous scientists.

Q 5: How to practice problems on SPOJ?
To practice problems, just follow few simple steps.

Step 1: Register on www.spoj.pl .
Step 2: Mail your userid to chair.acm@itbhu.ac.in and ask for the authorization password.
Step 3: Visit www.spoj.pl/ACM/problems ,On the first login it will ask for authorization password. Enter the password sent to you.

Q 6: In a contest, will there be separate questions for every year?
It is not necessary but a few privileges might be provided to the first year.

Q 7: Can I unsubscribe from ACM chapter in middle of academic session?
No.

Q 8: Do we have register in every academic session for the membership?
Yes.
